Insurance

The cost of routine eye exams and prescription eyewear can be of real concern, especially for large families. In many cases, vision insurance can lower these annual expenses.

A vision insurance policy is not the same as health insurance. Regular health insurance plans protect you against financial losses due to unexpected eye injuries or disease. Vision insurance, on the other hand, is a wellness benefit designed to provide routine eye care, prescription eyewear and other vision-related services at a reduced cost.

Because we provide both medical and routine eye care, we accept a number of insurance plans to help cover the cost depending on your individual needs. Here are just some of the plans that we accept:

Dear Patients,

In light of the most recent CDC guidelines, we will not be open for routine care at this time.  We will remain open with limited hours for urgency/emergency care only.  This is for your safety, the safety of our staff, and the safety of our most vulnerable in the community.  We will do what we can to take care of your eye care needs, but we must adhere to the guidelines to the best of our ability.

If you have an eye emergency, please call our office at 502-349-2020.  We will then be able to schedule you for a Telehealth visit or an office visit, if an in person visit is deemed necessary.  Please be patient, as we have very limited staff during this time.

Also, we understand that you may have concerns regarding your visual needs.  We will do what we can to help you during this time.  We can take contact lens orders over the phone and ship them directly to your house.  In some circumstances, we can do the same with eyeglasses.  We also have a list of patients to call once we can see patients for more routine care, please let us know if you would like to be on that list.

If you have already ordered eyewear and/or contact lenses, please call the office and we will make arrangements for you to pick them up.

Please call or text the office at 502-349-2020 with any concerns or questions.

Stay safe!
